Full-time degree students may work up to 20 hours a week. Accommodation options include on-campus, off-campus, shared houses and rooms in private homes, such as UNINEST, Herberton, Kavanagh and Broadstone in Dublin and Copley Court in Cork. How we get you to a first-time success
Visa processing is long and complicated, so we go through it with you. For Ireland we follow the requirements of the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS), and for the UK the UKBA requirements.

Ireland student visa: required documents

A properly completed, signed and dated summary application form, with the appropriate fee.
Valid for at least 12 months after your proposed date of arrival in Ireland, plus a full copy of all pages of any previous passports, if available.
Colour, passport-sized and not more than 6 months old, with your name and visa application reference number printed clearly on the back.
Include your full contact details and your reason (study) for choosing Ireland. Give details of any family members currently in Ireland or another EU Member State, and an undertaking to observe the conditions of the student visa.
Confirms acceptance and enrolment on a full-time course at a university or college, with a minimum of 15 hours of organised daytime tuition each week. It must give the course details, the fees payable and the amount already paid.
Proof of full payment of fees for at least the first year. Where fees are below €6,000, the full amount must be paid in advance. Where fees exceed €6,000, at least €6,000 must be paid in advance.
Access to at least €7,000 (or equivalent) to cover the first year, in your personal account or your sponsor's account. Recent statements of account and bank letters are required.
IELTS or TOEFL are preferred for non-native speakers. Also accepted: Test of Interactive English (TIE), Cambridge ESOL, English Test for Academic and Professional Purposes (ETAPP) and Pearson Academic (PA).
Depending on the school, proof of funds may also be required for each subsequent year of study.
All non-EEA students must have private medical insurance while living in Ireland to study. We arrange it for you at the best possible rate and cover.
